The Casino Lisboa will be showing “The beauty and love of humanity” by SIMONFREDERICK
This latest work from SIMONFREDERICK is based on the legend and stories of the goddess Guanyin, or (Kwan Yin). The name Guanyin is short for Guanshiyin which means “Observing the Sounds (or Cries) of the World”. It is said that on reaching the gates of heaven. instead of choosing everlasting peace and salvation, Guanyin, hearing the mortal cries and despair of humanity back on earth, decided to return to the world to help others attain enlightenment.

In these times of uncertainty, in these times when trust in humanity is at an all time low, the legend of Guanyin reminds us that when all the confusion is stripped away, our humanity is about unconditional love.
